You choose the stone. We design and make the piece around it, and see it through with the same independent grading, chain of custody, and insured, signature-on-delivery shipping as any CEPHI commission.
Every colorless stone is grown by chemical vapor deposition. Some are then finished under high pressure and temperature — a permanent step, standard in laboratory-grown diamond, and noted on the report when present. Fancy colors are produced after growth by irradiation and are sensitive to heat; any jeweler who later works on the piece should know. Fancy colors are available on Custom commissions only, and any treatment is stated on the grading report.
Should you wish for the stone itself to carry more — grown, in part, from your own carbon — that door remains open.
